Doctoral Candidate | Publishing Professional

About me

I work at Penguin Press as an Editorial Assistant – a division of Penguin Random House that includes the non-fiction imprint Allen Lane and Penguin Classics. I’m also completing a doctorate degree at the University of Oxford and I’m a Reader for Granta Magazine. I was born in the same Parisian town as Claude Debussy, grew up in rural North Wales and started out as a harpist. I’m now based in East London.

Here you can check out my CV, find ways to get in touch and read my past blog posts. This blog began as a way of documenting the ephemeral experience of undertaking a Doctor of Philosophy degree. You’ll find a mixture of sporadically updated scribbles on coffee, books, publishing, research and travel.
